Binh Phuoc province aims to become a modern, efficient and sustainable industrial province, an "attractive destination" of the Southeast region by 2030.
This is the target set by Binh Phuoc province in the provincial plan for the period of 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. This plan has just been approved by the Provincial People's Council of Binh Phuoc in Resolution No. 01/NQ-HĐND.
According to the plan approved by the Provincial People's Council of Binh Phuoc, the province aims to become a fast developing and sustainable industrial province by 2025, with a fairly large economic scale based on synchronous construction of hard and soft infrastructure.
By 2030, Binh Phuoc will become a modern, efficient and sustainable industrial province, an “attractive destination” of the Southeast region. By 2050, Binh Phuoc will become a modern industrial, prosperous and civilized province.
 
In the coming years, Binh Phuoc will focus on building regional link infrastructure to become an attractive destination of the Southeast region.
For rapid and sustainable industrial development in the coming years, Binh Phuoc will prioritize industries with high added value such as processing, manufacturing, supporting, renewable energy, etc.
In the coming years, Binh Phuoc will continue to expand and develop new industrial parks and clusters. In particular, the number of industrial parks by 2025 will be 20 zones, and by 2030 it will be 27 zones. The province also planned 32 industrial clusters with a total area of ​​1,827 hectares and formed at least 3 industrial clusters specialized in processing agricultural products such as cashew nuts, pepper, and coffee.
The notable piont in the planning period of 2021 - 2030, Binh Phuoc decided to reduce the area of ​​Hoa Lu border gate economic zone from 28,364  hectares to 25,864 hectares. At the same time, taking 2,500 hectares out of the planning to land for the expansion of Loc Ninh town and Loc Thai commune, Loc Ninh district.
Regarding economic indicators, Binh Phuoc aims to achieve an average growth rate of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the period of 2021 - 2030 at 9%. In which, in the period of 2021 - 2025, at 8.5%; in the period of 2026 - 2030 at 9.5%; in the period of 2031 - 2050, at 8-9%.
The structure of economic sectors in the GRDP, by 2025, industry - construction will account for about 48%; trade - services will account for about 34%; agriculture, forestry and fishery will account for about 18%; digital economy will account for 20%.
By 2030, industry - construction will account for about 54%; trade - services will account for about 35%; agriculture, forestry and fishery will account for about 11%; digital economy will account for 30%.
With the annual growth rate of GRDP, Binh Phuoc sets a target of GRDP per capita by 2025 to reach 106 million VND (4,600 USD); by 2030 to reach 180 million VND (7,500 USD); By 2050, it will reach about 27,000 - 32,000 USD.
Regarding traffic infrastructure, Binh Phuoc prioritizes building inter-regional transport infrastructure such as Ho Chi Minh city - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway; Gia Nghia (Dak Nong) - Chon Thanh (Binh Phuoc) expressway; DT 753 route to connect to Long Thanh international airport, Cai Mep-Thi Vai port; Dong Phu - Binh Duong route.
Regarding railways, Binh Phuoc plans the railway from Ho Chi Minh city to Loc Ninh to pass through the province with a length of 73.3 km. The railway connecting the Central Highlands region of Chon Thanh - Dak Nong is 102 km long.
For the airport, Binh Phuoc plans the Technic military airport to become Hon Quan dedicated airport with an area of ​​350 hectares.
To achieve the goals set out in the planning period of 2021 - 2030, Binh Phuoc needs 600,000 billion VND of investment capital. In which, the period of 2021 - 2025 is 210,000 billion VND; the period of 2026 - 2030 is 390,000 billion VND.
In terms of investment capital, besides the supporting capital from the Central Government to invest in transport infrastructure projects, Binh Phuoc will mobilize more capital from the private sector and foreign direct investment (FDI).
Binh Phuoc considers capital mobilized from the private sector and FDI capital as one of the main sources of capital in the province's socio-economic development in the period of 2021 - 2030.
